If you’re into knitting, it’s in the V&A.

I collaborated with the V&A as part of a project advertising the many types of art in their museum. I was given complete creative freedom on the design so long as I implemented the phrase ‘If you’re into knitting, it’s in the V&A.’

Using that brief, I designed and handknitted this vest. I filmed the whole process and a camera crew was also sent to film behind the scenes footage. I produced a voiceover describing my creative process and the reasoning behind my art. Using the behind the scenes footage, videos provided by me and the voiceover recorded, the camera crew was able to produce the below video.

I filmed a youtube video documenting the process of creating this vest, which I really enjoyed and I feel I learned a lot from it. I appreciated being given creative freedom and I think the result was a piece I’m proud of.
