As a lesbian, much of what i make is to do with lesbianism. I wanted to create bags and clothing that gave a nod to the different terms lesbians use to describe themselves. The first item I made was the “Stud Lover” bag as I feel like, outside of the black community, it’s an identity that is largely ignored.

The items for more masculine leaning people are especially important to me as I’ve been seeing a rise in harmful sentiment and hostility toward GNC people online especially within the lesbian community. I hope to encourage other lesbians to be more supportive and caring for their GNC counterparts and to recognise the huge position they have in our community.
